Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Director of Logistic Operations to oversee regional sites, partner with General Managers, and manage complex client relationships. You will analyze value-added services, drive long-range plans for efficiency, and maximize profits in line with Kenco’s guiding principles.

Significant travel is required. Responsibilities include leading site performance, developing customer profiles, and presenting value solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, logistics, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 8-10 years of supply chain management, business management or logistics experience required; regulatory experience preferred for some but not all sites.
• 3-5 years of logistic site leadership with budgetary experience required.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Supply Chain certification or training preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the proven ability to maximize team performance and development required.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and translate the company vision to regional sites and employees.
• Identify and maximize revenue and margins with existing customers through strong relationships.
• Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews to showcase performance and opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day site performance against KPIs and introduce new metrics.
• Hold regular meetings with General Managers to ensure alignment of daily operations.
• Drive safety initiatives across the network to reduce risks.
• Develop and review customer profiles and align improvements with customer objectives.
• Build business cases and present value solutions for customers.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training; work with L&D for staff development.
• Direct implementation of new programs and cross-functional collaboration.
• Use Lean Six Sigma tools to assess site capabilities for efficiency, safety, quality, and financial performance.
• Visit sites regularly to maintain leadership presence aligned with Kenco principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
