Job summary

The Home Depot seeks a Director of Services Licensing to lead enterprise licensing, permitting, regulatory compliance, and field licensing strategy. This role defines vision, operating model, and governance to ensure federal, state, and local licensing compliance while enabling growth and excellent customer experiences.

It also oversees audits, risk management, and service provider readiness across Home Services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in licensing, compliance, operations, regulatory affairs, risk management, or related functions.
• 5+ years leading managers and large-scale operational teams.
• Experience interpreting and applying regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Own all licensing and certification programs supporting Home Services operations and ensure compliance with federal, state, municipal, and trade regulations.
• Lead audit programs, risk assessments, quality reviews, and compliance scorecard initiatives with enterprise visibility.
• Oversee service provider licensing validation, qualification processes, and ongoing compliance monitoring in collaboration with field leadership.
• Develop and execute licensing and regulatory compliance strategy with governance structures and performance metrics.
• Lead managers and associates responsible for licensing operations, compliance administration, audits, and field compliance activities.
