Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Director of Learning & Development to elevate learning across our growing organization. The role leads enterprise learning, early career programs, and skilled trades development, translating business needs into meaningful experiences.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in L&D, deep expertise in adult learning and instructional design, and a track record of leading complex initiatives at scale. This onsite role is based at our Falls Church, VA headquarters.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive learning and development experience in a large, multi-location organization.
• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Deep expertise in adult learning, instructional design, and modern capability development.

Responsibilities

• Lead HITT's LMS and proprietary content portfolio to provide a consistent, high-quality learning experience.
• Translate talent priorities into high-impact development programs across enterprise, early career, and skilled trades.
• Advance contemporary adult learning practices and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, immersive learning, AR/VR, mobile).
• Oversee curriculum review, governance, and content development with SMEs across markets and roles.
• Partner with Safety to align safety learning with regulatory and site needs.
• Drive measurement of learning impact via data, feedback, and business outcomes.
