Job summary

JOBGETHER SRL is seeking a senior leader to run a centralized Language Access Interpreter Services Command Center. You will oversee interpreter scheduling, service delivery, and regulatory compliance while guiding workforce development and quality improvement initiatives across the program.

The role requires a seasoned healthcare interpreter with strong people leadership, capable of adapting to high-stakes, sensitive situations and driving enterprise-wide language services excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field.
• 5+ years in medical interpreting, with supervisory experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience in a medical environment.
• Strong knowledge of medical ethics and standards (NCIHC).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Language Access Interpreter Services Command Center, including scheduling and service delivery.
• Ensure services comply with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Contribute to strategic planning for language access and drive initiatives to improve availability and patient experience.
• Build relationships with management, staff, and stakeholders to promote language services adoption.
• Support language access services for limited-English-proficient and deaf or hard-of-hearing patients.
• Lead quality monitoring and continuous improvement of translation and interpretation services.
• Develop initiatives to increase awareness and utilization of language access services.
• Manage interpreter services staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and development.
• Provide guidance to interpreters in emotionally challenging situations and complex messages.
• Monitor budgets and spend with leadership, and adjust as needed.
