Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Scheduler/Dispatcher to manage daily scheduling for interpreter services and respond to requests from Swedish Medical Center. You will screen eligibility, review unassigned requests, and assign them to the appropriate service providers, while identifying gaps and guiding customers on service levels and how to request or cancel interpreter services.

You will contribute to strengthening systems by providing feedback on software parameters, evaluating assignment

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a scheduler/dispatcher or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds showing sensitivity to cultural differences and concerns

Responsibilities

• Manage daily scheduling activities using a multi-line phone system and a computerized database.
• Respond to Swedish Medical Center requests for interpreters and screen service eligibility.
