Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director (Integrated Watershed Management) to lead technical capabilities and coordinate with market sectors, operations, and marketing. The role focuses on risk management, quality control, and strategic initiatives across HDR’s service lines in watershed management and water quality.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 10+ years of experience, and professional registration.

Qualifications

Experience leading a Business Class or Professional Services leadership role.
Experience working cooperatively with HDR business class directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
Build cross-functional relationships with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
Lead risk management through process reviews and provide technical advisory services on projects.
Drive quality assurance and control in collaboration with the Quality Manager.
Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
