Job summary

WM is seeking an experienced operations and process improvement leader to accelerate change across the enterprise by guiding cross-functional teams. The role aims to drive economic and operational efficiency through innovation, agility, scalability, and reliability in both existing processes and new business ideas.

You will manage complex projects, develop pilot implementations, and report on improvements while collaborating with District Managers, Area Vice Presidents, and other executives.

Qualifications

• Must live and work in the US.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or similar area of study.
• 10+ years previous experience with a proven track record of continual business process improvement and innovation.
• 10+ years of experience in aligning financial, operations and customer demands with process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manages complex projects over long periods of time and across multiple disciplines.
• Develops new ideas and processes and manages pilot implementation to drive improved business operation; reports against economic and process improvement.
• Builds implementation plan for new business ideas; responsible for the pilot, reporting, and management training.
• Develops and implements an effective operations improvement process, consistent with long-range objectives, enhancing effectiveness with District Managers, Area Vice Presidents, and other management personnel.
• Leads, trains, monitors and motivates operations management teams to implement new processes.
• Utilizes financial analysis software/techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of current processes.
• Ensures process implementation and improvement through direct communication and solicitation of feedback.
• Maintains awareness of competition and trends affecting the industry.
