Job summary

WM seeks an experienced operations leader to accelerate change by guiding cross-functional teams and driving economic and operational efficiency through innovation, agility, scalability and reliability of existing processes and new ideas.

The role manages long-term, complex projects, develops pilots, and reports performance; you will coordinate with District Managers and Area VPs, applying financial analysis to measure impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or similar field.
• 10+ years of experience with a proven track record of continual business process improvement and innovation.
• Must live and work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Manages complex projects over long periods of time and across multiple disciplines.
• Develops new ideas and processes and manages pilot implementation to drive improved business operation; reports against economic and process improvement.
• Builds implementation plan for new business ideas; responsible for the pilot, reporting, and management training.
• Develops and implements an effective operations improvement process with long range objectives.
• Leads, trains, monitors and motivates the operations management teams to implement new process.
• Utilizes financial analysis software to evaluate the effectiveness of current processes.
• Ensures process implementation and improvement through direct communication and feedback.
• Maintains awareness of competition and trends affecting the industry.
