Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead talent management, benefits, and HR programs at the Metro Office. Reporting to the COO, you will shape policies, drive recruitment, and ensure regulatory compliance while advancing staff development and inclusion.

You will partner with executives to plan organizational strategy, oversee compensation structures, and steward employee relations across a diverse workforce in Fort Wayne.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in all aspects of human resources management and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including job descriptions, salary structure, and adjustments.
• Engage in strategic planning for the organization and provide leadership to executives and management.
• Foster staff and volunteer development with ongoing feedback, coaching, succession planning, and learning resources.
