Job summary

The Seattle YMCA seeks a Vice President of Human Resources to partner with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to shape and execute the Association’s HR strategy across YGS and its branches. This executive will lead organizational and cultural change, ensure delivery of HR services to all employees, and model integrity and ethics in a dynamic, mission-driven nonprofit.

As a full-time role based in Seattle, the VP-HR will guide recruitment, performance management, total rewards, and HR systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 8-12 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Track record leading HR strategies, programs and transformations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR plans and strategies organization-wide.
• Collaborate with CEO and SLT to drive organizational and cultural change.
• Oversee HR services delivery across branches/departments.
• Lead talent acquisition, retention, compensation, benefits, and succession planning.
• Act as culture ambassador and champion for diversity and inclusion.
• Manage HR team, budget, and performance measurement.
