Job summary

The Greater Cleveland YMCA Association is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to lead day-to-day HR functions for assigned departments, including employee relations, policy interpretation, compliance and full cycle recruitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience (employee relations, compliance, counseling, recruitment, performance management, policy interpretation, investigations).
• Minimum of 1 year recruitment experience, preferably in a corporate HR environment, including internet and social media sourcing.
• PHR or other HR certification preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with leadership and employees; provide confidential guidance on HR matters.
• Coach leadership in employee relations, policy interpretation and compliance with regulations.
• Develop orientation materials and conduct onboarding sessions; oversee Dayforce training as needed.
