Job summary

Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration, part of the Marriott family and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, seeks a results-driven Director of Housekeeping to lead all guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces.

You will set standards, coach managers, manage labor and budget, ensure safety and compliance, and partner with other departments to deliver exceptional cleanliness and guest experiences in a fast-paced, luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing management and frontline teams.
• Strong operational, financial, and workforce management skills, including budgeting, labor management, and productivity analysis.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, safety practices, service standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, operational systems, and reporting tools; valid driver's license if required by the property.

Responsibilities

• Lead all housekeeping functions including guest rooms, public spaces, laundry operations, and back-of-house areas. Establish operational standards, monitor execution, and ensure cleanliness, consistency, and efficiency across all areas of responsibility.
• Drive service excellence by ensuring the hotel consistently delivers a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. Monitor quality standards, guest feedback, special requests, and property appearance to support guest satisfaction and brand performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and development for housekeeping managers and associates. Foster accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement while building a strong leadership pipeline within the department.
• Manage labor costs, scheduling, payroll productivity, inventory controls, purchasing activities, and departmental expenses. Utilize operational and financial data to maximize efficiency while maintaining service and quality standards.
• Oversee department compliance with company policies, safety programs, security procedures, key control standards, emergency preparedness requirements, and operational regulations. Promote a culture focused on associate safety, asset protection, and risk mitigation.
• Partner with hotel leadership, engineering, front office, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and consistent service delivery. Support property-wide initiatives, communicate operational priorities, and contribute to overall hotel performance.
