Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of housekeeping experience preferred.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews staffing levels to meet guest service, operations and financial goals.
• Assigns rooms and responsibilities based on occupancy and checkouts.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment for housekeeping operations.
• Supervises inspections of guestrooms and public spaces for quality control.
• Monitors budget impact and strives to meet or exceed financial targets.
• Trains new room attendants and provides ongoing coaching.
• Schedules staff according to business demands; tracks attendance and performance.
• Ensures adherence to policies, standards and procedures; communicates goals in meetings.
