Job summary

Serenity Hospice in New Jersey invites a motivated Director of Business Development to drive growth, forge new partnerships with hospitals, SNFs, and physician practices, and develop sales and marketing strategies to expand our presence in the community.

This leadership role covers the Essex County area and collaborates with the executive team to set goals, create sustainable growth plans, and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hospice, hospital, or nursing home development.
• Minimum 2 years in business development and sales.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively in the territory.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Driven, motivated to grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Forecast business development needs in the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with SNFs, ALFs, hospitals, and physician practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Set and achieve growth goals with the executive team.
• Attend marketing meetings as required.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
