Job summary

CRI is a mission-driven team delivering enterprise management systems and cybersecurity solutions for government and commercial sectors. We seek a Director of Business Development to drive growth across Federal Civilian and DoD markets, lead capture and proposal efforts, and build relationships with executives and customers.

The role requires eight+ years in federal BD, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to executing opportunities. Join a minority-owned, WOSB with 30+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Eight years of Federal business development experience.
• Five years in a small business federal contractor environment.
• Experience with Civilian and DoD market segments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience engaging with C-Level executives and SMEs.
• Proven capture, proposal strategy and execution experience.
• Ability to lead BD and capture efforts, including teaming and negotiations.
• Experience developing internal BD training programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of company capabilities and customer needs.
• Create short- and long-range plans for Federal Civilian and DoD markets.
• Oversee pursuits and prioritize with BU leaders and strategic plans.
• Maintain liaison with Government agencies, primes, subcontractors, and teaming partners.
• Interact with executives and major customers.
• Coordinate RFIs/proposals/orals with SMEs as needed.
• Lead a Proposal Manager and manage opportunity milestones.
• Monitor competitor activities and market drivers.
