Job summary

Vivere Life (Formerly Sodalis Senior Living) in Deer Park, Texas, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise the upkeep of the community’s buildings and grounds, coordinate preventive maintenance, and oversee contractor work to ensure safety, reliability, and an inviting environment for residents.

You will lead maintenance staff, enforce safety policies, conduct drills, manage small budgets, respond to emergencies, and occasionally drive the community vehicle for resident transport or off-site

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years related maintenance experience.
• HVAC, electrical or plumbing certifications preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license.
• Travel may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises associates in the Housekeeping and/or the Maintenance Departments as applicable.
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety regulatory compliance.
• Oversees repairs and maintenance of building structures, systems, and grounds.
• Maintains emergency kits and conducts drills as required by state regulations.
• Drives the community vehicle for resident transport and off-site tasks.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information.
