Savant Senior Living seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee facilities infrastructure, equipment, and grounds, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being for residents. You will lead a maintenance team, plan preventative programs, and manage vendor relations.

The role requires expertise in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and code compliance, with the ability to respond to emergencies and coordinate across departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Health Screening, TB Clearance, and Criminal Record Clearance required.
• First Aid/ CPR Certification preferred.
• California Code of Regulations Sections 85065(f)/87411(g) references.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/vocational training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute regular maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to extend equipment life.
• Manage the maintenance department budget and procurement for cost-effective operations.
• Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and code compliance.
• Develop emergency response protocols and be available for urgent maintenance needs.
• Oversee exterior upkeep including landscaping, parking areas, and walkways.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; ensure adequate stock levels.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Maintain records of work orders, repairs, and expenditures.
• Oversee external contractors and vendors for maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize resident and staff environments.
• Lead and supervise maintenance staff—hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations.
