Job summary

Savant Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee facilities infrastructure, equipment, and grounds, ensuring safety, comfort, and well‑being for residents. You will lead a maintenance team, plan preventive programs, and manage budgets while coordinating with other departments for a smooth, high‑quality living environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in a supervisory maintenance position, strong knowledge of trades, and familiarity with codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute regular maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to extend equipment life.
• Manage the maintenance department budget, procurement, and cost control.
• Inspect facility for safety, code compliance, and maintenance needs.
• Develop emergency response protocols and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Oversee exterior upkeep including landscaping, parking areas, and walkways.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; ensure stock levels.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Maintain records of work orders, repairs, and expenditures.
