Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1–3 years related maintenance experience.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing licenses preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises associates in the Housekeeping and/or the Maintenance Departments as applicable.
• Performs preventive maintenance according to Policy and Procedure Manual and TELS program.
• Adheres to OSHA, EPA, MSDS and NFPA safety regulations; maintains safety binders.
• Performs or oversees repairs to buildings, systems, grounds, and furnishings.
• Assists residents with move-ins/move-outs and related tasks to ensure comfort.
• Maintains emergency drills and equipment; supports after-hours emergencies.
• Drives community vehicle for resident transport and essential community tasks.
• Manages supplies, budget parameters, and coordination with contractors.
