Hyve Group is seeking a Director of Event Operations for BETT USA in Miami. The role focuses on overseeing operations delivery, leading a small team, and collaborating with VP Operations on event strategy. Travel to BETT UK and ASU+GSV Summit is required to ensure best-in-class execution.

The position emphasizes process development, cross-team coordination, and ensuring sponsor delivery aligns with budget and strategy. On-site leadership will be critical for successful events.

Qualifications

• Experience leading event operations teams and delivering on-site execution.
• Strong budget planning and forecasting for events and sponsorships.
• Ability to manage vendor relations and negotiate contracts.
• Willingness to travel to BETT USA, BETT UK, and ASU+GSV Summit.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of the event including pre-event and on-site phases.
• Oversee on-site execution of Meetups program.
• Manage event budgets, forecasts, vendor relationships, site visits, and RFPs.
• Handle logistics: floor plans, AV, F&B, décor, signage, staffing, security.
• Negotiate contracts, invoices, and insurance requirements.
• Plan staffing for each event, including temporary/contract staff.
• Lead post-event reconciliation and debriefs with vendors.
• Develop and lead a small team of 1-3 event coordinators/managers and set onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and content teams to manage partnerships.
• Maintain processes and inventory for BETT USA sponsorship delivery.
