Job summary

Hyve Group in Miami seeks a Senior Operations Manager to own logistics for LegalTechTalk USA 2027, including vendor procurement, venue orders and staffing. The role oversees budgets, security, and run-of-show while coordinating with marketing, content and partnerships teams.

Travel to Miami for site visits is required; strong negotiation, Excel skills and a proven track record in large events are essential. The position blends onsite delivery with sponsor operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of event management experience, working in large conferences or trade shows.
• Experience delivering sponsor activations or partner fulfillment is a strong plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized under pressure with sound judgment across priorities.
• Proficiency with technology platforms and technology management.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (budgets, trackers, reconciliations).
• Be detail-oriented and a problem-solver with ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and delivery of the event from pre-event planning through onsite execution.
• Oversee onsite Meetups program and maintain event budgets and forecasts.
• Develop relationships with local and national vendors; conduct site visits and manage RFPs.
• Coordinate floor plans, AV, F&B, décor, signage, staffing, security and venue orders.
• Secure permits and ensure health, safety, crowd management and accessibility planning.
• Lead run-of-show with content, production and AV teams; direct coordinators.
