Job summary

Hyve is launching LegalTechTalk USA in Miami, guided by an Events Leadership team dedicated to delivering a premier legal technology conference. The Event Director will drive strategy, revenue, and partnerships to establish a must-attend event in America.

The role blends sales leadership (up to 60%), stakeholder management (up to 30%), and industry-driven event delivery with a global, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event management or adjacent industry with strong project delivery.
• Commercially minded with multi-million budgets and forecasts.
• Seasoned leader of multidisciplinary teams in a matrix environment.
• Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organized, numerate and detail-oriented with planning skills.
• Agile, resourceful and able to handle fast-paced growth.
• Strategic thinker translating priorities into actionable steps.
• Curious, quick to learn and focused on innovation and improvement.
• Collaborative leader with a positive, low-ego approach.
• Strong problem-solving and resilience under pressure.
• Solid understanding of market and event industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, planning, delivery and financial budgeting for the event.
• Run weekly progress meetings and report to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Own the event's overall performance targets including P&L with the revenue lead.
• Collaborate with Founders and Hyve strategy to refine value proposition and strategy.
• Build relationships with trade associations, media and key accounts.
• Coach the global team to stay goal-oriented and productive.
• Contribute to overall strategy as part of the Event Leadership team.
• Maintain focus on customer experience from prospect to event execution.
• Stay informed on industry trends and engage with the event ecosystem.
