Job summary

Hancock Whitney in New Orleans seeks a Manager, Learning and Development to lead design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise training programs. You will guide a team delivering instructor-led and blended learning that supports business goals and enhances associate experience.

You will partner with senior leaders to diagnose performance needs, set priorities, and measure training impact, fostering a culture of continuous learning and talent development across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in Learning & Development with at least 5 years leading teams.
• Expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, and program evaluation.
• Ability to consult with senior leaders to align learning strategy with business goals.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and facilitation skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning technologies (LMS, virtual tools).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise learning strategy and align with business goals.
• Establish standards for consistent learning experiences across formats and locations.
• Oversee development, delivery, and improvement of training programs including regulatory content.
• Set goals for the L&D team and ensure resources and timelines support execution.
• Review training and identify opportunities to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Partner with stakeholders to diagnose performance gaps and tailor solutions.
• Maintain master training calendar and coordinate across departments.
• Manage external learning partnerships and vendor relationships.
• Stay updated on trends in learning and development to innovate.
• Promote a learning culture with measurement and data-driven improvements.
