Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance's USRM Technology unit seeks a Director, Engineering to lead the Property & Specialty Delivery portfolio. You will manage ~150 FTE and contractors, steering product capabilities to hit aggressive P&S profit and growth targets and partnering with stakeholders across domains to launch and scale new solutions.

You will shape technology strategy, drive speed-to-market, and embed AI-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in technical or business discipline; Master's preferred.
• More than 10 years related experience with 5 years in leadership.
• Proven experience leading and running a large-scale software engineering delivery engine.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing engineering team of ~150 FTE and contractors.
• Define and advance technology strategy and drive operational excellence.
• Make portfolio decisions using data-driven insights and metrics.
• Collaborate across USRM Technology and other domains to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Transform product delivery to improve speed to market and AI integration.
