Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team supporting Energy-from-Waste facilities across North America. You will oversee HV, MV, and LV electrical design, including breakers, transformers, MCCs, and protective relaying, while guiding capital projects and feasibility studies.

The role reports to the VP of Engineering, requires 15-20 years in electrical engineering with leadership experience, and involves collaboration with multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 15-20 years in electrical engineering with 5+ years of leadership experience.
• MV/HV systems experience (switchgear, MCCs, relaying, transformers).
• PE license and Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Design Engineering team for electrical infrastructure across high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems.
• Oversee capital projects and technical programs; develop standards library and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with site/regional teams and external partners; travel ~30%.
