Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team across North America. You will oversee design of HV, MV, and LV systems—including breakers, transformers, MCCs, and switchgear—while guiding capital projects and feasibility studies.

Travel about 30% is expected. The role reports to the Vice President of Engineering and emphasizes talent development, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• Professional Engineer license in the United States is highly desired.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, electrical design for capital projects, and technical risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Design Engineering team across HV, MV, and LV systems for energy-from-waste facilities.
• Oversight of capital projects, technical programs, and design standards library.
• Coach SMEs, lead feasibility studies, and manage external engineering partners.
