Job summary

Brightview Senior Living seeks a Dining Services Director to lead the community's dining team, delivering exceptional meals and service to residents. You will coach staff, manage operations, and ensure a safe, inviting dining environment.

You’ll develop budgets, nurture vendor relationships, and coordinate with families for feedback. This role collaborates with marketing and other departments to elevate the resident dining experience across the Brightview community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in culinary, hospitality, or food management.
• 2–4 years of Food Service Management experience in hospitality (Country Club, Banquets).
• Ability to lead a large, diverse team from dishwashers to chefs.
• Current Safe Serve or other relevant certification.
• Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to plan and manage a budget.
• Ability to analyze reports.
• Positive attitude with strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and manage the community’s dietary associates and operations.
• Establish a communication plan with residents, families and guests to ensure excellent dining.
• Be visible during meal service, engaging with residents to exceed expectations.
• Solicit feedback on menu preferences and dining experiences.
• Develop and maintain the dining services budget; manage vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with other departments on marketing and Brightview initiatives.
