Job summary

Brightview Senior Living seeks a Dining Services Director to lead the community's dining team and ensure outstanding nutrition and service for residents. You will coach staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with families to tailor dining experiences.

In this role you will drive resident satisfaction, build vendor relationships, maintain safe kitchens, and partner with other departments on initiatives that enrich daily life at Brightview communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in culinary, hospitality, or food management.
• 2–4 years of Food Service Management experience in hospitality.
• Ability to lead a large diverse group of associates.
• Current Safe Serve or other relevant certification.
• Experience in food preparation.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to plan and manage a budget.
• Ability to analyze reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and manage the community's dietary associates.
• Establish a communication plan with residents, families, and guests to ensure excellent care and nutrition.
• Be a visible presence during meal service and solicit feedback on menu preferences and dining experiences.
• Assist in budgeting and vendor relationships; ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and safe.
• Collaborate with other departments on marketing and special projects to support Brightview communities.
