Job summary

Brightview Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Dining Services Director to champion and coach our dining associates and advocate for residents, delivering exceptional service, delicious food, and engaging dining options.

The role involves leading a diverse team, developing budgets, coordinating with residents and families, and partnering with other departments to support Brightview communities. A Bachelor’s degree in culinary/hospitality is preferred and Safe Serve certification is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; education focused in culinary, hospitality, or food management.
• Min 2–4 years of Food Service Management experience in hospitality.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large diverse group of associates.
• Current Safe Serve or other relevant certification.
• Demonstrated experience in food preparation.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to plan and manage a budget.
• Ability to analyze reports.
• Moderate computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and manage all of the community's dietary associates.
• Establish a communication plan with team, residents, families and guests to ensure excellent care and nutrition.
• Be a visible presence during meal service and engage with residents to exceed expectations.
• Solicit feedback regarding menu preferences, dining experiences, and satisfaction.
• Assist in development and maintenance of the dining services budget.
• Develop vendor relationships and ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and safe.
• Work with the team to prepare meals.
• Collaborate with other departments to support marketing and public relations of the community.
• Participate in special projects and assignments to support Brightview communities.
