Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to secure, optimize, and govern the DSCX application portfolio in a hybrid, enterprise environment. You will lead 6–8 direct reports and drive vulnerability remediation, automation, and resilience across on-call and disaster recovery programs.

You will build processes, partner with BISO and security governance, and champion a culture of ownership, blameless post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience, or an Associate with 11+ years, or HS diploma with 13+ years.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Application Operations and IT.
• Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
• Eligibility: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability remediation and high-priority defects across the DSCX portfolio, aligned to BISO policy and SLAs.
• Own remediation backlog with owners and target dates; escalate blockers as needed.
• Cut manual operational work; own automation backlog and set IA C standards.
• Lead blameless post-mortems and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.
