Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to lead the DSCX portfolio. You will own vulnerability remediation, reliability, and automation, and manage a growing team across on-call, incident response, and disaster recovery.

The role requires strong cloud expertise, IaC discipline, and collaboration with security to meet CMMC obligations. You will drive modernization of legacy systems, coordinate with BISO for security policy adherence, and champion blameless

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with substantial IT/operations experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Application Operations and IT.
• Military experience counts as professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability remediation and high-priority defects across the DSCX portfolio.
• Define and own SLA, SLO, and SLI metrics and reporting.
• Reduce toil by building automation and tooling and advancing infrastructure as code.
• Lead on-call rotations, disaster recovery, and continuity planning.
• Oversee legacy apps sunset, migration plans, and product lifecycle management.
• Coach and develop a distributed operations team to higher performance.
