Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to lead a portfolio of DSCX applications, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant operations. You will build an automation-first culture, manage vulnerability remediation, and guide a team through legacy sunsetting and AI-enabled modernization.

The role emphasizes governance of SLA/SLO/SLI, incident response, and vendor management, with a focus on resilience, continuity, and a strong security posture across AWS, Palantir Foundry,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher with extensive IT/ops experience.
Minimum 5 years in Application Operations and IT.
Military experience counts as professional experience.

Responsibilities

Own vulnerability remediation and high-priority defects for DSCX portfolio.
Own remediation backlog with owner and target dates.
Set infra-as-code standards and drive automation.
Lead blameless post-mortems and track actions to closure.
Manage on-call rotations and disaster recovery planning.
Lead and develop an operations team toward continuous improvement.
