GE Aerospace seeks a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to lead a team responsible for vulnerability remediation, reliability, automation, and resilience across the DSCX application portfolio. The role focuses on standardizing processes, reducing toil, and coaching a growing team in a demanding defense-focused environment.

You will manage on-call, disaster recovery, and lifecycle initiatives, with a budget exceeding $25 million annually, and oversee partners across AWS, Palantir

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience
• Associates degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience
• High School Diploma with minimum of 13 years of professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Application Operations and IT
• Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability remediation and high-priority application defects across the DSCX portfolio, ensuring compliance with BISO SLAs and CMMC obligations.
• Own automation backlog and set infrastructure-as-code standards; drive cause removal rather than ticket clearance.
• Define and report on SLA, SLO, and SLI; lead blameless post-mortems and track action items to closure.
• Lead legacy lifecycle management, sunsetting, and vendor management across 15+ legacy apps and reports.
• Lead on-call rotations, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity efforts.
• Hire, coach, and develop the operations team; build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
