Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to lead the DSCX portfolio. You will drive security remediation, reliability, and automation across 30+ digital products, tying together incident management, vulnerability fixes, and vendor relations.

The role emphasizes building an operations discipline, AI-enabled improvements, and mentoring a growing team. The position is remote with Cincinnati, OH preferred, offering a broad budget and governance for a large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with substantial professional experience, or equivalent combinations.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience; in-depth Application Operations and IT experience.
• Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Security and vulnerability remediation across the DSCX portfolio with defined SLAs.
• Automation backlog ownership and reduction of manual operational work.
• Define and report on SLA, SLO, and SLI; drive blameless post-mortems and action closure.
• Lead legacy retirement, sunsetting, and AI product integration plans.
• On-call rotations, disaster recovery planning, and vendor management.
• Lead and coach a distributed operations team, shaping the culture of ownership.
