Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant DSCX applications. You will lead a team, own vulnerability remediation, define SLAs, and drive automation to reduce toil while coordinating with security and TPMs.

The role combines on-call readiness, disaster recovery planning, legacy sunsetting, and modernization with AI opportunities, reporting to the Digital Technology leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience OR Associates with 11+ years OR high school with 13+ years
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Application Operations and IT
• Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability remediation and high-priority defects across the DSCX portfolio.
• Build automation to remove manual work and reduce toil.
• Lead on-call rotations and disaster recovery planning.
• Define SLA, SLO, and SLI metrics and report them.
• Migrate legacy applications and sunset plans with TPMs.
