Job summary

MOREgroup is seeking a data professional with a strong background in data science, engineering, integration, and warehousing to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. You will work with modern cloud platforms and lead cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in data engineering, integration or warehousing.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Boomi, Talend, AWS Glue, MS Fabric or SSIS).
• Proficiency in programming languages used for data analytics (Python, R, Scala, or SAS).
• Strong SQL skills with large relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with cloud-based data ecosystems, data modeling, and analytics best practices.
• Experience leading offshore data teams across multiple time zones.
• Excellent communication to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that support business reporting, analytics, and operational needs.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and analytical data models to enable accurate, accessible insights.
• Integrate data from internal and external sources using APIs, flat files, database connections, and modern ETL/ELT tools and methodologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to understand data needs and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend BI, analytics, and data solutions that align with organizational needs and long‑term technology strategy.
• Ensure data is accurate, consistent, secure, reliable, and performant across platforms and systems.
• Develop and maintain data solutions that support reporting, business intelligence, data science, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Build and maintain a hybrid data and analytics environment that supports immediate business needs while advancing AI/ML adoption.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and system performance.
• Apply sound technical judgment when selecting data integration approaches, balancing speed to delivery, scalability, maintainability, and modernization.
• Establish and maintain data architecture, pipeline, integration, and development standards and documentation.
• Lead and manage offshore teams of developers, analysts, engineers, and administrators to support data and analytics initiatives.
• Oversee data and analytics projects from solution design and development through implementation and delivery.
• Define and execute an operational strategy that supports MOREgroup’s diverse data audiences.
• Identify opportunities to improve data processes, reduce reliance on shadow technology solutions, and create scalable enterprise data capabilities.
