Job summary

Second Front Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to build and lead a centralized data function from the ground up.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will own the full data lifecycle across the company—from systems integration and data architecture through business intelligence, reporting, and analysis. This hands-on, player-coach role designs the data warehouse, governance, and dashboards, partnering with leadership across Finance, Go-to-Market, Mission, Product, Services,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building analytics capability from zero to scale.
• Experience reporting to executives, boards, or investors with accuracy discipline.
• 8+ years in data/analytics/BI; 3+ years leading function.
• Ability to translate technical implementations into business decisions.
• Data governance framework design across finance, sales, engineering.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, gross margin).

Responsibilities

• Architect data warehouse and BI infrastructure to replace ad-hoc reporting.
• Build automated dashboards for department leaders, executives, board, investors.
• Define metrics, data sources, and governance with single source of truth.
• Lead and develop analytics team as the company scales.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive evidence-based decisions.
• Own platform decisions, costs, security posture, and vendor relationships.
