Job summary

Trinchero Family Estates seeks a Director of Consumer Insights to lead the enterprise insights agenda and transform data into strategic business guidance in Napa. You will partner with Brand Marketing, Finance, and Strategy to drive consumer-led growth and informed portfolio decisions.

The role requires 7–10 years in insights or analytics, with strong storytelling and executive collaboration skills, leveraging tools like Power BI and AI-enabled analytics to speed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, analytics, consumer strategy, or related field.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior, shopper dynamics, and the U.S. beverage alcohol marketplace.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including segmentation, concept testing, brand health measurement, pricing research, and consumer journey analysis.
• Experience utilizing syndicated and consumer data resources such as Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, IWSR, Datassential, 84.51°, Winemetrics, or similar platforms.
• Strong executive presence, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Consumer Insights agenda and annual learning roadmap.
• Advise senior leaders with insights that influence strategic priorities, growth initiatives, portfolio strategy, and investments.
• Identify consumer, shopper, category, and portfolio opportunities through data, research, trend analysis, and marketplace intelligence.
• Collaborate with Brand and Innovation leaders to develop segmentation, target audiences, and occasion-based frameworks.
• Translate complex data into compelling business stories and executive presentations.
• Manage research budgets, external agencies, and knowledge-sharing systems to ensure timely, actionable insights.
