Amwins is seeking a Director of Claims to provide operational and strategic leadership for the Self-Funded Claims Department. This in-office role with the option to work from home up to two days per week after training focuses on service excellence, staff development, and continuous improvement across divisions.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in leadership, 10+ years in Group Benefits Claims, and strong regulatory knowledge (HIPAA, PHI, COBRA, ACA).

Competenze

• 7+ years of progressive leadership responsibility with direct/indirect reports.
• 10+ years of experience in Group Benefits Claims; Stop Loss experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Stop Loss policy terms, PHI, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA.
• Experience improving departmental workflows, production standards, and quality metrics.

Mansioni

• Drive client and partner engagement while maintaining SLA performance and updating stakeholders on results and trends.
• Partner with senior leadership to set priorities, targets, and scalable claims operations.
• Lead Claims Managers and Analysts, oversee training, performance management, and QA alignment.
• Oversee productivity, quality, staffing, and service performance using metrics and reporting.
• Serve as SME on complex claims and regulatory initiatives, representing Claims in cross-functional efforts.
• Lead quality, compliance, and continuous improvement to protect PHI and regulatory requirements.
