Job summary

Neo is seeking a Director of Business Development to establish and lead the BD function from the ground up in Boston, MA. This in‑office role reports to the Head of Marketing and requires recruiting, coaching, and scaling a hybrid BDR/SDR team that generates pipeline across inbound and outbound motions.

You will design AI‑native prospecting workflows, evaluate tooling, craft messaging for security buyers, and own pipeline metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B SaaS business development or sales development, with at least 2 years leading BDR/SDR teams.
• Hands-on AI fluency and ability to show workflows, agents, prompts, and automations built or deployed.

Responsibilities

• Build, hire, and lead a team of hybrid BDR/SDRs covering inbound response and outbound pipeline generation.
• Design an AI-native prospecting engine with agentic research workflows, signal-based targeting, enrichment, personalization at scale, and automated follow-up.
