Job summary

Pinnacle Live is seeking an Operations Director to support the Venue Director in overall venue management, team leadership, and meticulous event execution. You’ll oversee setup, operation, and strike of AV equipment, maintain inventory, and drive guest satisfaction across premier hotels and resorts in North America.

The role emphasizes budget oversight, staff development, and strong client relations, with incentives on top of base salary. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ event technology experience in a hospitality environment.
• Minimum three years’ demonstrated managerial experience.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to foster long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages setup of client events to ensure successful outcomes.
• Ensures events are set up according to standards.
• Manages inventory and equipment location, preventing theft or damage.
• Assists Venue Director in budgeting for revenue and expense control.
• Maintains accurate and timely billing for events and clients.
• Coordinates equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Communicates with Director and team about workload and questions.
• Trains and develops venue team; fosters continual improvement.
