Job summary

Officeworks Inc. seeks a Director of Project Management to lead the Architectural Solutions project management team.

You will set standards, ensure PMs follow them, and develop the team’s technical and professional capabilities across the full lifecycle of interior construction projects. You will mentor and assign PMs, monitor schedules and budgets, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement across projects and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in architectural interiors.
• Experience leading a team of project managers.
• Ability to develop teams and hold them accountable.
• Strong understanding of drawings, shop drawings, and field verification.
• Experience with risk assessment and process optimization.
• Experience with Union & Non-Union environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional partners.
• PMP/ CCM / LEED credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and develop the division’s project managers.
• Assign PMs to projects based on scope and requirements.
• Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
• Develop technical depth in wall systems, glass fronts, doors, and ceilings.
• Foster a culture focused on customer service and continuous improvement.
• Oversee project reviews, schedules, budgets, and client issues.
• Ensure PMs adhere to standards and processes across markets.
• Travel up to 30% for client meetings and jobsite visits.
