Job summary

Officeworks Inc. is seeking a Director of Project Management to lead the Architectural Solutions division, setting standards, mentoring PMs, and ensuring margins and client satisfaction across all project stages.

You will guide pre-construction planning, field verification, procurement, installation, and closeout for demountable walls, glass fronts, doors, and integrated interior construction in active sites. Strong PM, leadership, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Business, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of industry experience with strong background in project management, including architectural interiors, demountable wall systems, or interior construction.
• Proven ability to lead a team of project managers and develop them.
• Ability to hold a team accountable for schedule, budget, and quality across multiple jobsites.
• Excellent understanding of architectural drawings, shop drawings, and field verification.
• OSHA 30 preferred; familiarity with union and non-union environments.
• Experience with risk assessment, subcontractor and vendor relations, and process optimization.
• Proficiency in project management software and financial tracking.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and develop the division’s project managers and build an independent architectural interiors team.
• Assign PMs to projects based on scope, requirements, and development needs; rebalance as workload shifts.
• Set goals, conduct reviews, and provide ongoing feedback based on project performance.
• Develop team depth in wall systems, glass fronts, doors, ceilings, and integrated power/data, with required certifications.
• Foster a customer-service culture focused on process efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and ownership of project outcomes.
