Job summary

Officeworks Inc. is seeking a Director of Project Management to lead the Architectural Solutions division. You will set standards, ensure PMs follow them, and elevate team capability across the full lifecycle of interior construction projects.

The role requires developing a high-performance PM culture, overseeing schedule, budget, and client relationships, and intervening when margins are at risk. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 10+ years of project management leadership experience in interiors or related construction.
• Proven ability to develop and mentor project managers and manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and develop the division’s project managers.
• Assign PMs to projects based on scope and client needs; rebalance as needed.
• Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
• Develop team competency in wall systems, glazing, doors, and MEP interfaces.
• Ensure standards, templates, and checkpoints are followed across markets.
• Conduct regular project reviews on schedule, budget, risks, and client issues.
• Monitor margins, field conditions, and contract compliance; escalate as needed.
• Travel up to 30% for client meetings and site visits.
