Zusammenfassung

LaunchDarkly seeks a Director of Internal AI Operations to scale and govern the company’s AI program, turning disparate tools into a measurable business capability. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement governance, policy, and operational excellence across Finance, IT, Security, Legal, and Product.

You will define metrics, manage an enterprise AI portfolio, and collaborate with executives to drive ROI and responsible AI adoption across US locations.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of experience in AI or technology operations, enterprise systems, data and analytics, FinOps, governance, transformation, or a related field.
• 5+ years leading teams or complex cross-functional programs.
• Experience designing or scaling an operating model across multiple functions with clear ownership, policies, processes, metrics, governance, and outcomes.
• Experience managing an enterprise portfolio of AI or technology tools, vendors, integrations, or platforms.
• Strong financial, analytical mindset; able to define adoption, ROI, and business-value metrics using Snowflake, Excel, Python.
• Strong communication skills; ability to present to senior leaders and persuade diverse stakeholders.
• Experience influencing leaders without direct authority across global, remote teams.
• Curiosity about AI with a focus on responsible AI, governance, privacy, security, and risk.
• Systems thinking, program management, and change leadership in ambiguous, company-wide problems.
• Experience hiring or developing teams and partnering with Finance, IT, Security, Legal, Procurement.

Aufgaben

• Reporting: build visibility into AI spend and usage; forecast, budget tracking, and risk reporting.
• Portfolio management: maintain AI tools inventory, spend, status, risks, and dependencies.
• Reviews: manage internal AI feature review process with Legal, IT, Security, and owners.
• Policy operations: develop and maintain Internal AI Policy with Legal and Security.
• Transformation and migration: track AI roadmap, migrations, adoption milestones, risks.
• Partnership with technology teams: collaborate on AI product initiatives and value delivery.
• Administration and audit: define access, data controls, logging, retention, and offboarding.
• Communications and enablement: own AI comms calendar, FAQs, training, and policy changes.
• CoE coordination: establish cadence and artifacts across distributed AI Centers of Excellence.
