Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead the campus Admissions team and drive enrollment goals. You will manage staff, plan local marketing initiatives, and collaborate with Financial Aid to optimize the student experience and outcomes.

The role requires a proven enrollment leadership track, strong communication, and team development skills across a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a proven admissions track record with a minimum of four years with direct enrollment management experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with enrollment management practices.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicate effectively with individuals of diverse socio-economic and multi-cultural backgrounds; respect and ethics required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, manage, supervise and motivate Admissions Representatives and support staff.
• Ensures evaluations of calls and interviews; conducts performance reviews; collaborates with other departments to ensure campus success and excellent student experience.
• Observe interviews and calls to provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement.
• Review inbound calls and ensure proper lead handling and data entry.
• Ensure staffing coverage for inbound leads during hours of operation.
• Monitor public reviews and mystery shop results; track progress toward start goals.
• Coach and develop potential leaders for future admissions director roles.
• Work with campus management to ensure resources meet admission goals and submit timely reports.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid to hold STITCH/GAP meetings maintaining customer service and interview-to-start performance.
• Plan campus events like open houses and orientations; conduct daily standups and weekly team meetings; communicate with applicants and prospective students.
