Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. in Houston, TX seeks an Accounting Director, GBS, to lead the close process, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive governance and control maturity. You will partner with FP&A, manage the Accounting Shared Services Team, and support audits and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a CPA, 10+ years of accounting leadership, and experience with SAP, BlackLine, and XRoads. Hybrid work policy applies with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA accreditation is required or in progress.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review financial statements and explain variances with FP&A.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Lead internal controls design, testing, and remediation.
• Drive finance transformations and system implementations.
