ENGIE North America Inc. in Houston, TX seeks an Accounting Director, GBS, to lead the close process, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive governance and control maturity. You will partner with FP&A, manage the Accounting Shared Services Team, and support audits and regulatory requirements.

As an Accounting Director, GBS, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for ENGIE North America entities. This role balances operational excellence, people leadership, and governance while driving process standardization, internal control maturity, and finance transformation initiatives aligned with ENGIE Group and GBS strategy. The role requires strong partnership with business leaders and the ability to lead teams through change in a dynamic, regulated, and fast-evolving energy environment. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive performance and impact results. You will manage the period-end close process, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and coordinate tasks performed by the Accounting Shared Services Team (GBS). You will be responsible for delivering financial results for your business unit. With Accounting Managers as direct reports and additional indirect reports, you will support the accounting teams with expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, transactional tax, process controls, and audit coordination.
Salary Range: $135,000 - $206,885 USD annually
