Job summary

Advanced Energy in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the global shared services accounting team. You will ensure accurate close processes and partner with regional teams to standardize policies across regions.

The role requires 4+ years in corporate accounting, US GAAP knowledge, and ERP experience (SAP/S4Hana/Oracle/Blackline). Public-company exposure is a plus, with onsite Denver work and a strong controls environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and consolidations.
• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP, S4/Hana, Oracle, Blackline).
• Experience working for a multi-national company.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Public company experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and general accounting functions.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Collaborate and serve as the business partner for global shared services.
• Provide variance analysis on owned parts of the financial statements.
• Assist in defining standardized processes, policies, and procedures across regions.
• Leverage IT tools to enable efficiencies and enhance accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audits.
• Communicate accounting issues with subsidiaries and support ERP initiatives.
• Contribute to Next Generation ERP implementation and ad-hoc projects.
