Travere Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Director of Nephrology Research to lead strategy and portfolio development for rare kidney diseases. The role will drive translational research, manage external collaborations, and guide programs from concept through IND readiness with a focus on biology, genetics, and translational evidence.

The position requires a strong scientific leadership background, ability to work cross-functionally, and a track record of advancing preclinical programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in life science or related field.
• PhD/MD/PharmD or equivalent advanced degree preferred in immunology, cell biology, pharmacology, or related discipline.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute nephrology research strategy.
• Lead translational research from concept to IND readiness.
• Oversee external collaborations with CROs, academia, and biotech partners.
